BENEFICIARY: Filipina 5th and 6th Grade Intervention Teacher
LOCATION: New Town, ND
Our client‘s current employer was willing to petition for her I-140. Our client holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, a valid North Dakota Teaching license, and has worked for her current employer since August 2022. Based on our client’s work history, our office determined that she is eligible for EB-3 classification for her I-140 petition. Our client eventually retained us in November 2022.
Before filing the PERM application, our firm prepared the prevailing wage request, advertisements, and all other steps important for pre-PERM filing. Within a week of being retained, the prevailing wage request was filed. After we obtained the prevailing wage determination, her employer filed the job order on July 26, 2023. On November 14, 2023, we filed the PERM application.
On March 27, 2025, the PERM Labor Certification was approved – an EB-3 position for the Filipina beneficiary. Our client can now file the I-140 petition.
