CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client from Nigeria came to the U.S. on a B-2 visitor’s visa in November 2017. Since then, he has remained in the United States. In June 2022, our client married his current U.S. citizen wife. He retained our office for his green card application on July 15, 2022. Our firm filed the I-130 Petition and Adjustment of Status Application on July 29, 2022. All went well and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. Before the interview, we prepared our clients at our office via conference calls. On December 19, 2023, our client was interviewed at the Cleveland, OH USCIS office. Attorney Sung Hee (Glen) Yu accompanied our clients as well. On December 21, 2023, his green card application was approved.
