Immigrant Visa Based on Arizona School I-140 Approved for Filipino Biology Teacher in Manila Philippines

CASE: Immigrant Visa / I-140 (EB-3 Category)

EMPLOYER: Public School District in Casa Grande, AZ

BENEFICIARY: Filipino High School Biology Teacher in the Philippines

LOCATION: Manila, Philippines

Our client had an employer that was willing to petition him for an I-140.  Our client used to work for this employer as a High School Biology Teacher for several years. With our office’s assistance, our client’s PERM Labor Certification was certified. Later, his employer filed an I-140 petition for our client and it was approved by the USCIS on June 2, 2022. While his I-140 was pending, our client went back to the Philippines and started consular processing for his immigrant visa.

Once we were retained, our office filed the immigrant visa packets to the National Visa Center on February 5, 2024, and they gave the client’s materials to the U.S. Embassy in Manila, Philippines. An interview notice was set for the client at the Embassy. On October 4, 2024, our client appeared for her interview. It went well, and they issued his immigrant visa. With the approved Immigrant Visa, our client can come to the United States immediately, and he will get his green card within two months of entry.
