Our client contacted our office in January of 2021 regarding her I-751 application.
She is from the Philippines and she married a U.S. citizen in December 2017. She obtained a 2-year conditional green card in May 2019. Her conditional residency terminated in May 2021. To comply with immigration requirements, our client and her husband had to file an I-751 Joint Petition to Remove Conditions. Her minor child also filed an -751 application along with our client. She retained our office on January 18, 2021. On February 17, 2021, our office filed the I-751 application to the USCIS.
On August 30, 2022, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE) and requested our client to submit additional bona fide marital evidence. Our office filed the Response to the RFE on September 27, 2022. On October 11, 2022, the USCIS approved our client and her daughter’s I-751 applications. They received their 10-year green cards.
