Our client came to the United States from Nigeria with an F-1 student visa. He married a U.S. Citizen in January 2022. He retained our office on September 13, 2022 for his green card application. Our firm filed the I-130 and I-485 Application on January 26, 2023. All went well and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permit came on time. On September 27, 2023, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE) for our client’s I-693 immigration medical and bona fide marital documents. Our office filed the RFE Response. On October 14, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
