CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client came to the United States from Nepal with an F-1 student visa to study. He married a U.S. Citizen in May 2023. They retained our office on August 18, 2023 for his green card. Our firm prepared the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application on September 11, 2023. However, on July 17, 2024, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence for our client to submit additional marital documents between him and his wife. Our office filed our client’s RFE on August 12, 2024. On August 21, 2024, our client’s green card was approved.
