Our client came to the United States from the Philippines as a J-1 exchange visitor. Her J-1 program was not subject to the two-year foreign residency requirement. She married a U.S. Citizen in October 2023. They retained our office on December 7, 2023 for her green card. Our firm filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application on February 1, 2024. Before the interview, we prepared our clients via conference calls. On August 14, 2024, our client was interviewed at the Louisville, KY USCIS office. A day later, our client’s green card application was approved.
