Our client came to the United States from Nigeria on a F-1 student visa. He married a U.S. Citizen in June 2021. His U.S. citizen wife filed an I-130 petition for our client on September 24, 2021. He retained our office on June 7, 2022, for his green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on June 10, 2022. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permit came on time. On August 3, 2023, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE) for our client’s I-693 immigration medical record. Our office filed the I-693 RFE Response on August 29, 2023. On September 1, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved without an interview.
