CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client came to the United States from the Philippines in December 2021 with a B-2 visitor visa. Since then, she has remained in the United States. She married a U.S. Citizen in May 2022, then retained our office on September 8, 2022 for her green card application. Our firm filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on September 30, 2022. All went well and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. Before the interview, we prepared our client via conference calls. On July 27, 2023, our client was interviewed at the Minneapolis Minnesota USCIS office. On July 28, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
