CASE: I-751
APPLICANT: Filipina
LOCATION: Houston, TX
Our client contacted our office in July of 2022 regarding her I-751 application.
She is from the Philippines and married a U.S. citizen. Through marriage, she obtained a 2-year conditional green card in February 2017. Her conditional residency terminated in February 2019.
Our client should have filed an I-751 Joint Petition to Remove Conditions before February 2019. However, due to financial reasons, they could not file the I-751 on time. She retained our office on July 15, 2022 and our office prepared an application for our client with marriage evidence and a letter to explain their late filing. On September 9, 2022, our office filed the I-751 to the USCIS.
On July 2, 2024, the USCIS approved our client’s I-751 and our client received her 10-year green card.
