After Serving Two Year Rule, Immigrant Visa Approval for Another Filipino High School Math Teacher in Manila Philippines

CASE: Immigrant Visa / I-140 (EB-3 Category)

EMPLOYER: Public School District in Casa Grande, AZ

BENEFICIARY: Filipino High School Math Teacher in the Philippines

LOCATION: Manila, Philippines

Our client had a former employer (public school district in Casa Grande, AZ) that was willing to petition him for an I-140.  Our client worked for this employer as a High School Math Teacher for several years. With our office’s help, our client’s PERM Labor Certification was certified. Later, his employer filed an I-140 petition for him and it was approved by the USCIS on May 17, 2022. While his I-140 was pending, our client went back to the Philippines and started consular processing for his immigrant visa.

Once we were retained, our office filed the immigrant visa packets to the National Visa Center on March 11, 2024, and they forwarded our client’s materials to the U.S. Embassy in Manila, Philippines. An interview notice was then set for the client at the Embassy. On July 26, 2024, our client appeared at her interview. It went well, and the Embassy issued his immigrant visa. With the approved Immigrant Visa, our client can come to the United States, and he will get his green card within two months of entry.
