Our client entered the United States in February 2024 on a K-1 visa from India. He is the beneficiary of an approved I-129F petition. He entered the United States as the fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen, whom he married within 90 days of his entry. By law, if you marry your petitioner-fiancé(e) within 90 days of your K-1 visa entry, you are eligible to apply for adjustment of status (green card) in the United States. He married in March 2024.

Our client initially contacted our office for a consultation regarding his adjustment of status application. He subsequently retained our office, and our firm promptly prepared and filed the I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on June 13, 2024. The process proceeded smoothly; the receipt notices and the fingerprint appointment were received on time. On February 5, 2025, USCIS approved his I-485 adjustment of status application.
