Immigrant Visa Approval Based on Marriage With I-130 Petitioner in Cleveland Ohio and Filipina Beneficiary in Manila, Philippines

CASE: I-130 and Consular Processing (Immigrant Visa) – Marriage-Petition

Our client is a U.S. citizen who married his wife in the Philippines in July 2022.  After marriage, he came back to the United States and retained our office for an I-130 and immigrant visa filing for his wife. They retained our office on July 18, 2022. Our office filed the I-130 petition on August 19, 2022. The I-130 was approved by the USCIS on July 20, 2023.

Once the I-130 petition was approved, we filed immigrant visa packets to the National Visa Center on October 2, 2023, and they forwarded our client’s materials to the U.S. Embassy in Manila, Philippines. An interview notice was set for the client at the Embassy and we prepared her for the interview. On September 13, 2024, the interview was conducted.  On September 16, 2024, the U.S. Embassy issued her immigrant visa.

With the approved Immigrant Visa, our client’s wife was able to come to the United States and receive her green card.
