CASE: I-140 (EB-3)

Our client had an employer that was willing to petition him for an I-140. Our client has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, a valid New Mexico Teaching license, and has worked for his employer since January 2022. Based on our client’s working background, our office determined that he is eligible for EB-3 classification for his I-140 petition. Our client retained us in May 2022.
Before filing PERM, our firm prepared the prevailing wage request and all other steps which are important in pre-PERM filing. Within a week from our retention, the request was filed. After we obtained the PW determination, the employer filed the job order on January 23, 2023. We filed PERM on April 6, 2023. On May 6, 2024, the PERM Labor Certification was approved– an EB3 position for the Filipino beneficiary.
Once the PERM was certified, our client retained our office for his I-140 petition. We filed the I-140 on May 20, 2024 via premium processing. We included the job offer letter and other supporting documents. On May 29, 2024, the I-140 was approved. Once his priority date becomes current, he can file his I-485 application.
